Write for After Exile.

After Exile begins with Iran, but welcomes writing from other diasporas and histories of displacement. We are looking for essays that combine clarity, moral seriousness, historical awareness, and literary strength.

We are not looking for slogans, propaganda, abuse, or careless accusation. We are interested in witness, argument, reflection, memory, and responsibility.
